Privacy Policy
How Dale collects, uses, and protects information — including how we handle phone calls, text messages, and the rights of California residents.
01Who we are
Dale is a service of Me Rigani Productions, Inc., a California corporation doing business as GetDale (“Dale,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our principal place of business is 4210 York Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90065. Our fictitious business name was filed with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk on April 21, 2026 (Filing No. 2026086330).
Dale provides AI-powered phone answering, job booking, and customer communication tools to small trade businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
02Scope of this policy
This policy covers two distinct groups of people whose information may pass through Dale:
- Clients — the trade business owners and employees who subscribe to Dale and use our service to manage their phone, calendar, and customer communications.
- End users — the customers, leads, and callers who contact a Client's business and interact with Dale's AI agent on the Client's behalf.
Where this policy refers to “you” without qualification, the relevant section applies to both groups. Where the practices differ, we identify which group is being described.
When you call a phone number operated by one of our Clients, your information is collected on the Client's behalf, and the Client is the data controller for that information. Dale acts as a service provider to the Client. Questions about the Client's own privacy practices should be directed to the Client.
03Information we collect
From Clients (subscribers)
- Account information: name, business name, business address, email address, phone number, and login credentials.
- Billing information: payment card details (processed and stored by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our systems), billing address, and subscription history.
- Onboarding information: business operating hours, service area, services offered, calendar configuration, voice samples for voice cloning, and other details you provide to configure your Dale agent.
- Usage information: log-in records, feature usage, support requests, and SMS replies you send to our automated check-ins.
From end users (callers)
- Call data: caller phone number, call duration, time and date of call, audio recording of the call, and a written transcript generated from that recording.
- Information you provide on a call: name, phone number, email address, service address, project or service description, scheduling preferences, and any other information you share with the AI agent.
- SMS data: mobile phone number and the content of text messages you exchange with the Client's Dale-powered number.
Automatically collected (website visitors)
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use a minimal set of cookies for essential site functionality. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites for advertising purposes.
04How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Dale service;
- Answer Clients' phone calls and book appointments on their behalf;
- Send Clients daily check-in summaries, lead notifications, and other operational messages;
- Send end users transactional confirmations (e.g., appointment confirmations, follow-ups) on a Client's behalf;
- Process subscription payments and send billing receipts;
- Improve the accuracy, safety, and reliability of our AI agents and underlying models;
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
05SMS communications
Dale sends and receives SMS text messages through licensed telecommunications providers. There are two distinct SMS programs.
Client SMS program
When you subscribe to Dale, you consent to receive transactional and operational text messages from us, including daily morning check-in summaries, lead notifications, appointment alerts, billing notices, and service announcements.
- Message frequency: recurring; varies based on call volume and feature usage. You may receive multiple messages per day.
- Message and data rates: may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from automated SMS. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages. Note that opting out of SMS may materially limit the value of the Dale service, and we may follow up by email or phone to confirm.
- Help: reply HELP to any message, or contact support@getdale.ai.
End-user SMS program
When you call a phone number operated by one of our Clients, the Client may send you transactional text messages through Dale — for example, an appointment confirmation, a follow-up after a service visit, or an invoice. These messages are sent on the Client's behalf and are subject to the Client's own opt-in and opt-out practices. You may reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages from that Client.
Mobile information collected through Dale — including phone numbers and SMS content — is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data is not shared with any third party.
06Phone calls & AI handling
When you call a phone number operated by one of our Clients, your call may be answered by an automated AI voice agent. The agent will identify itself as an AI assistant at the start of the call and will inform you that the call is being recorded.
- Recording: calls are recorded and transcribed to provide the service, maintain records for the Client, and improve the quality and safety of the AI system. By continuing the call after the recording disclosure, you consent to the recording. If you do not consent, you may end the call at any time.
- AI processing: call audio and transcripts are processed by third-party AI providers (see Subprocessors below) to understand your request, schedule appointments, and generate replies.
- Storage: recordings and transcripts are stored on the Client's account within Dale's infrastructure. The Client controls how long this data is retained, subject to our default retention periods.
- Live transfer: in some cases, the AI agent may transfer your call to a human at the Client's business. Recording continues during the transfer unless the Client's policy provides otherwise.

- Client account data: for the life of your account and for up to 90 days after termination, except where longer retention is required by law (e.g., billing records under applicable tax law).
- Call recordings and transcripts: by default, retained for 12 months from the date of the call, after which they are deleted unless the Client has configured a different retention period or applicable law requires longer retention.
- SMS message logs: retained for 12 months from the date of the message.
- Billing records: retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).
You may request earlier deletion as described in the California privacy rights section below.
10Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information — including encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting employee access to data on a need-to-know basis. Our subprocessors maintain their own security programs.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
11California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides you with the following rights regarding your personal information:
